Have you ever unplugged from social media? Well I have; November 1, 2019 through May 1, 2020 was the moment I decided to give myself a social media break. To be honest, I devoted this time to revive my relationship with God.
I became attentive to my physical health, mental health and putting my family as priority. I know for a fact that I lost many friends, followers, and life updates, along the way, but I learned that sometimes the best way to grow is to subtract. Besides, it doesn’t matter what other people are doing, what really matters is what I was doing.
In May of 2020, I was ecstatic that I was completing Graduate school, my children would transition into daycare and school, giving me the perfect opportunity to go off to conquer the corporate world again. Well, that certainly was not in God’s plan. I can recall several professors acknowledging my writing candor. To God be the glory okay!! I first looked the word candor up to see what it meant. LOL. All things considering, my gift in writing has been a liberation of all the sentiments that I hold dear. So here I am world!
